Cardinal Films was a wedding film brand obsessed with telling our clients’ love stories. If you're anything like us, you know the value of being moved by something. Something that really speaks to you; something that gets you. There's something special in that, and at Cardinal Films, your wedding day is that special moment for you. There's something uniquely personal about every bride and groom, and we didn't want to tell each story any other way.

We weren't a turnkey operation that cares only about production efficiency and sales stats. No, we were two guys who cared passionately about crafted filmmaking that moves the heart and soul. 

This is what we aimed to do at Cardinal Films. 

OUR STORY

Cardinal Films became a company in March 2018 when Jonathan Wade and Nathan Bivens joined forces taking their video production partnership from the corporate world to the wedding world. They had previously worked together for a video production company, but had separate wedding photo and video brands. After being a part of the majority of 40+ weddings from Mississippi to North Carolina with Cardinal Films along with continuing his photography business, Nathan decided to step away from the wedding industry and pursue a career in software engineering. Nathan supported the work of Jonathan and Cardinal Films from afar for nearly two years, before Jonathan also moved on. In May 2022, Jonathan Graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and decided to close down the Cardinal Films brand.
